Creating conection definition file

Use the following tool to dynamically create the connection definition of your PLC or SINUMERIK:

SIEMENS PLC CONNECTION TOOL:

Open AGLink40_Config.exe and select the folder of your S7/SINUMERIK plugin as a settings folder.

Settings directory

Add the PLC and optionally the NCK to the "Connections" tab as illustrated below.

For best results first, add the PLC with PLC no 0 and then the NCK with PLC no

Connection Configuration tool

Click "Apply" or "OK" to persist the changes to your configuration definition file (AGLink40CfgDev0000.xml).
