Inventory managed materials are materials that are counted and belong to the Storage Locations. Those storage locations are maintained the Admin Client by a person who has the permissions for it. Material consumption entries can be created for these type of materilas, but before those materials will be added to material consumption entry, there is going to be the availabaility check which shows if there are enough materials in the storage locations. In this way the technician can see not only the amount of the availabale materils, but as well where those materials can be found.

Non inventory managed materials are materials that are not being counted in the system. They cannot be reserved. While creating the materilal consumption entry, no availability check is required. This material can be used at any time during a work step. However, the consumption can also be modified or even deleted afterwards.

5.2 Inventory Overview

In the main menu, navigate to MATERIAL→ INVENTORY OVERVIEW.

All the materials that are inventory managed can be found in the inventory overview. The materials are displayed in a list form and can be filtered by different storage locations.

Please ask your supervisor about the app permissions.

The storage locations should be added in the Admin Client by a person who has permissions to modify data there.

In the current Workheld Flow version, the materials are transferred to storage locations with the help of the interface.
